October 11th, 2008, Hilo, Big Island of Hawaii

Lush green vegetation, beautiful mountain streams, and some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.  These are some of the many reasons why I love living in Hilo, and also shooting weddings here!

Rebecca was beautiful and one of the most laid-back brides ever!

Sterling is into mixed martial arts…  though it looks like he need more practice! Rebecca wins with a rear naked choke hold.

Amongst the rambutan fruit…

 

Da grindz was ono!  From top left, clockwise: kalua pig, lomi lomi salmon, chicken long rice, chili pepper water, rice, korean chicken, ahi poke, macaroni salad.

After, everyone gathered under this pavilion.  The location was beautiful.

Sterling’s father did a very powerful BANSAI.

Reggae band Soul Redemption flew over from Utah.  They were so good we stayed past our contracted time just to enjoy the party. :) The bride and groom are living in Utah, but the groom is from Hilo.

Rebecca, Sterling, and family/friends, thank you for letting my wife and I share a beautiful time with you.
