These amazing dresses were custom made from 2nd-hand mu`umu`u’s (long Hawaiian dresses) by Judy Aveiro.  We just loved this idea and the colors!

The guy’s shirts were made from the same material as the girl’s dresses.

Favors are of Kaua’i salt using leftover mu`umu`u fabric.

Andrea & Kamu, congratulations!!!  Thank you for having us at your wedding and treating us like guests.  We feel so blessed to be there.

Greg & Lori, congratulations and thank you for flying us over to Oahu to cover your beautiful wedding!

This past weekend Bev and I went on vacation to visit our family and friends on Oahu… and of course go shopping!  My sister Diane also wanted to do a photoshoot for her new band Falling Down Romance with her partner Danny.  I was happy to help out and we decide to do it in Chinatown at night.  It was a lot of fun cruising the streets. She even got to play a song at a club since she had her electric cello in hand! Total rockstars!

The entire State of Hawaii was on flash flood warning. Skies were so dark and it was raining like crazy… I felt so bad for the couple!

Still, they had such a great optimistic attitude. It was so much fun working with them!

The sun peeked through for a few minutes just as they got married.

Afterwards we did some random beach hopping in the rain… they are so cute!

Looking back, I wouldn’t want the weather any other way.
