The location Anuhea and Kanoa chose could not have been better!  We were in the clouds at 3000ft amongst the greenest grass and most beautiful trees on Pu’u Wa’awa’a Ranch in Kohala. They will be getting married at this same spot later this month. We can’t wait for their wedding.  Such a beautiful and fun couple!

Anuhea will be dancing at the Hilo Merrie Monarch Festival coming up in just a few days so we had to have a shot with her dancing.  We have no idea how she manages hula practice and planning a wedding!

Anuhea & Kanoa, thank you for letting us be part of your wedding later this month.  We can’t wait to return here to the ranch!

This was a very touching engagement session.  Kurry is deployed in the military and had only a short visit back in Hawaii to see Amygrace.  It was so sweet to see them back together again.

Although it was raining during the ceremony, we were lucky to have some pockets of dry time afterwards to take some fun photos around the park.  If Sheilah looks familiar, she was a bridesmaid in Wilma & Matt’s wedding.  Congratulations Sheilah and Malcolm!

As the sun set, we headed to the beach for some sexy portraits.

Tech note: my new Canon 5D MarkII camera allowed us to keep shooting well past sunset.  I just love this camera!

Staci and Bryce, it was amazing capturing the love so evident the both of you have for each other.  Thank you for allowing me and Bev to share in these precious moments with you two.  Congratulations!

Things I want to accomplish while there:

• Listen to and meet as many speakers/photographers as I can.  Being on the Big Island  can feel very isolating. It will be such a blessing to be able to meet and learn from all these other great photographers.
• See the latest products from vendors which will help with photography.
• Check out  every album vendor to see in person their albums and choose one to use.  I’d like to upgrade to a more high-end album vendor for my clients.
• Have a lot of quality time with Bev.  This is my highest priority since we’ve both been so busy with weddings recently and hardly have any time for ourselves.

Can’t wait!!!
