Hawaii is a mix-plate of cultures. This is a wonderful 2-night event held annually by the University of Hawaii at Hilo. Bev and I were lucky to be able to shoot it! It’s just so cool to see the wide-range of cultures here perform.

Mauna Kea, Big Island of Hawaii — Elevation 13,796 FT
The snow up Mauna Kea recently has been awesome! I haven’t seen snow for ages and it was so much fun going up to play with Bev and a bunch of friends.

“SNOWMEN!!!”, these kids yelled as they passed by. It’s always fun watching the local Hawaiian kids in the snow.
*** Warning: Make sure to use high SPF sunscreen and wear shades if going up.
